On September 18, was held the event “The challenge of the expansion of the Airport from an economic perspective” at the headquarters of the College of Economists of Catalonia, organized by the Commission of Territorial and Urban Economy of the CEC and moderated by the economist Agustí Jover. This event aimed to incorporate the vector of the economy in the decision-making process of the expansion of the Josep Tarradellas – El Prat Airport and was attended by the speakers Ignasi Ragàs Prat, founding member of the Barcelona Air Routes Committee, Javier Asensio Ruiz de Alda, Co-director of the infrastructure and Transport research program of the Barcelona Institute of Economics, Jordi Suriñach Caralt, director of the Economic Impact Study of Josep Tarradellas – El Prat Airport and Xavier Fageda Sanjuan, Research Group on Governments and Markets at the University of Barcelona.
